Topic: Business Development in an Exploitation Play
How do transactions evolve as an oil and gas play transitions into its exploitation phase? Gil Guethlein will discuss building relationships, economic drivers, and influencing factors in business development within established fields with multiple operators, like the DJ Basin.
Gil Guethlein manages DJ Basin Land Business Development at Anadarko, where she oversees complex business transactions involving oil and natural gas properties in Colorado. A Texas transplant, Gil started her career in Houston and has previous experience with Statoil and BP America. She is a Landman by profession and a lawyer by training with licenses to practice in Texas and Colorado. In addition to sitting on the Executive Committee of the Denver APL, Gil sits on the Board of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Denver, she is a Fellow with the Latino Leadership Institute at the University of Denver, and she is a steering committee member of the Impact Makers Table, a 501(c)(3) non-profit. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, brunch, and travel.
