October 2019 Luncheon

October 16 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm MDT

Speaker: Robert Bram

Topic: Continuous Evolution of the DJ Basin…. How did we get here?

Summary: This presentation will touch on land matters as they changed over time, some historical changes brought on by technology and financial results, regulatory evolution and inevitable financial consequences of interaction between the oil patch and expanding populations.

Biography of Speaker: Born in Port Clinton, OH, Robert Bram graduated from the University of Colorado in 1980 with an emphasis in Minerals Land Management.  Having spent the first half of his career working the Northern Rockies, he began his full-time on Denver-Julesburg Basin properties in 1997 with North American Resources. Since then he has been observing changes and collecting stories about the development of this remarkable field.  Once an area that few desired to work, the D-J is now one of the powerhouse fields driving the shale revolution in the United States.  In his spare time he can be found on his bicycle, his skis, making a mess in the kitchen or enjoying a good book with a nice Italian red in his glass.
